Economy of Camaros

While the nations of Camaros have declared themselves sovereign entities, they still use a common currency throughout.

Each nation originally used it’s own form of currency, but now there is one large treasury in each nations, which uses metals located in the Dyrodos Mountains of Duros.

Each coin is used to signify a particular aspect of a certain nation, listed below.

Strum: A strum is a small coin, about 1/4 inch in diameter, made of copper. It is minted with an engraved portrait of Baron Strum, who founded Strumas.

Doth: A doth is a coin slightly larger than a strum, about 1/2 inch in diameter, made of silver. It is minted with an engraving of a fisherman, to signify the nation of Dothas, which relies heavily on it’s fishing trade.

Sind: A sind is a large coin, about 3/4 inch in diameter, made of gold. It is minted with an engraving of the Sindrissen family emblem, the family who ruled Duros for most of it’s existence.

Aldd: An aldd is the largest coin, about 1 inch in diameter, made of platinum. It is minted with an engraving of a group of trees, to signify the Aldder forest of Kestheus.

The coins move up in increments of ten, so there are ten strums in a doth, ten doths in a sind, and ten sinds in an aldd.
